3 Labor Day Cocktail Recipes to Toast Summer Goodbye from Belize

The Labor Day long weekend is here! And what better way to toast the end of the summer with these suitably tropical and breezy rum cocktails. Whether your hosting a backyard BBQ or mixing up a few drinks at home with friends, here are 3 easy and fun rum recipes from Travellers Liquors Ltd. Pair with a summer playlist and you’ll just about forget that Fall is around the corner. 

Rum-arita

This take on a margarita uses Travellers’ finest white rum to create a zingy and refreshing drink.

  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz Cristal Lite Rum
  • Squeeze the juice of one lime, blend with ice.

Rim Margarita glass with fresh lime, dip edge of glass in salt and pour drink into it. Garnish with slice of lime.

This golden tipple combines Travellers signature premium 5-year aged rum with refreshing coconut water. Alternatively, enjoy straight or on the rocks to savor the smooth oak flavor.

  • 1 oz 5-Barrel Rum
  • 2 oz Coconut Water (Fresh or canned)

Serve over ice.

A Belizean classic and one you can order at any restaurant or bar in Belize. This easy cocktail recipe combines coconut rum and pineapple juice, served over ice.

  • 1 oz Coconut Rum
  • 2 oz Pineapple Juice
