Cashew Festival – Save the Date

On May 12th and May 13th, the Crooked Tree Village showgrounds will be the place to be as it hosts the Cashew Festival! The charming village, known for its vibrant wildlife and serine landscape, comes alive as artisans and farmers gather to share their authentic cashew products.

This year marks the eighteenth year the Cashew Festival is being held. Every year a beautiful young lady is crowned the Cashew Queen, in coordination with a festival dedicated to everything Cashew.

At the festival, there will be an abundance of cashew wines, jellies, and jams to try. Not to mention, a variety of authentic cashew pastries and dishes to satisfy your appetite, so come hungry!

The sweet yet tart taste of the fruit itself is unique in flavor, giving an authentic twist to dishes when infused. Not to mention, the cashew nut makes for the perfect snack as it has many nutrients.

Cashew Festival Belize

Experience the vibrant spirit of the village as you meander through the showgrounds. Traditional displays, music, and other entertainment make for a cultural day out. The day doesn’t have to end there, as there is a dance following into the night.

How to Get there.

Crooked Tree Village is roughly a 32 miles from Belize City. You can rent a car or jump on a local bus heading towards Orange Walk or Corozal. The drive is approximately 45 minutes to an hour on the Northern Highway.
