The Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge

Detailed Information

The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant is placed on a 650-acre farm nestled up against an 80,000-acre nature reserve, surrounded by the Sleeping Giant Hills. The resort features luxury accommodations, with each unit having views of the Sleeping Giant Hills, creeks, or the crystal clear Sibun River.

Once at the center of the Mayan Empire in Belize, the resort grounds are littered with extensive jungle trails, hiking paths, and even a Mayan Ceremonial Cave, where skeletal remains and pottery adorn its insides.

No resort is complete without an award-winning restaurant, and we are proud to be home to 2018, and 2019, BTB Restaurant of the Year winner, The Grove House. Serving exquisite dishes, made from all-natural and fresh ingredients, The Grove House menu is what we like to call, Farm to Table.

With Don Tonito’s Wood Fire Pizza, only steps away, enjoy artisan pizza baked in our wood-burning oven or ‘el fogón’, under the lush jungle canopy, and indulge in culinary experiences like nowhere else.

Unplug and reconnect at The Sleeping Giant. With an abundance of activities, cuisine choices, and accommodations, The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant is the ideal getaway experience for you, yours, or the entire family.
