Belize has a number of amazing dive sites along its coast for you to explore. The two top attractions, however, are the Belize Barrier Reef and the Great Blue Hole.

The Belize Barrier Reef is the world’s second-largest barrier reef, second only to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Hundreds of species can be seen here, including tropical fish, sharks, sponges, coral, sea turtles, manatees, rays, dolphins, and even crocodiles.

The Great Blue Hole is a marine sinkhole that formed when sea levels rose and flooded a large cave system millions of years ago. It is considered one of the top dive sites on Earth and is truly a marvel to behold. If you are an experienced scuba diver, this is one you must check off your list.
