Tanya describes herself as not much of an academic but someone who thrives in her passion for creation and design. Born and raised in Belize City, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and an Associate’s Degree in Tourism. Vivian decided to choose this path in her career as she understands how important marketing is in any field. Vivian has lived in Kentucky for two years and in Houston for one, and though she is very appreciative of the opportunity she had living abroad; Belize has her heart. She enjoys sharing her country with people and discovering all the best things Belize has to offer. Vivian is a big foodie for both local and international cuisines, and while she is tiny, she never passes up on enjoying a nice plate.

Born is 1950 in the old Belize City hospital. She graduated from St. Catherine Academy and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, Literature, and Theater Arts. In her adult life, she had two careers as a teacher of English, Spanish, and Literature; as well as a Professional Singer. Nelita also has experience in Broadcast Radio and Editing. Her passions are movies, novels, philosophy, and swimming.

Born and raised in Belize City is a graduate of Pallotti High School, and holds an Associate Degree in Tourism Studies from the University of Belize; She is currently halfway through her Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management. She has previously done an internship at the Belize Tourism Board. Reyann enjoys traveling and taking part in environmental/conservation activities and is a proud member of the Belize Audubon Society.
Carolee Chanona - Content Creator
Growing up in the shadow of the Sleeping Giant awakened a sense of adventure and environmental stewardship in Carolee Chanona at an early age. Nature’s bounty on the family farm served to encourage her hobby of cooking and the value of using fresh, local Belizean ingredients. This belief was honed under her 2-year tutelage under Chef Sean Kuylen and the Flavors of Belize team across the country. The blending of these worlds has propelled Carolee to pursue a career fostering sustainability. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy from the University of South Florida, she has been the Membership Service Manager at the Belize Audubon Society since 2017 and continues cooking in her free time. A self-proclaimed locavore and staycation-enthusiast, Carolee looks forward to continuing to promote the very best that Belize has to offer!
