Waterfall Rappelling at Mayflower Bocawina National Park

Easily reached from Hopkins or Dangriga, the 11-sq-mile Mayflower Bocawina National Park offers high-adrenaline adventure activities. The Mayflower Bocawina National Park is home to three waterfalls, and you can rappel down each one! Depending on your expertise, you can choose the challenge of rappelling 250 feet down the Antelope Falls, or pick the easier thrill of the Bocawina or Three Sisters Falls. Whatever you choose, you will be sure to feel an adrenaline rush.

Actun Tunichil Muknal

The Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave, aka ATM Cave, should be on your Belize adventure bucket list! Located in the western part of Belize, its exploration combines adventure with archaeology. Actun Tunichil Muknal is one of the most artifact-rich caves ever found in Belize. Also known as the Cave of the Stone Sepulcher, it was a sacred space to the ancient Maya, where they worshipped their gods and performed human sacrifices to appease them. The tour requires some physical strength as it starts with a trek 45-minutes through the jungle. At the entrance, you’ll swim to reach the cave. The Great Blue Hole is a top must do in Belize and high up on many divers list beign the only dive site of its kind in the world. A national treasure and Belize’s most famous dive site, the Blue Hole Natural Monument is located in the center of Light­house Reef some 62 miles from the mainland. Affectionately known as the Great Blue Hole, this marine treasure measures approximately 984 feet wide and 410 feet deep. It is now ranked as number one on The Discovery list of “The 10 most amazing places on Earth,” and the experience is unlike any other. As you descend you’ll spot giant stalactites, dripstone sheets and limestone columns, with sightings of  inquisitive Caribbean Reef Sharks and Black Groupers. To dive this wonder you must be an advanced divers. Swim with Sharks at Shark Ray Alley

Shark Ray Alley is located inside Hol Chan Marine Reserve. It is a popular snorkeling site teeming with nurse sharks, rays and marine life. By visiting this snorkel site, you can be guaranteed a sighting of some sharks. Not to mention, its a short 15-minute boat ride south of San Pedro or 30 minutes North of Caye Caulker; Hol Chan is very accessible. Upon arrival, you are in for a warm welcome!
