There are 8 ancient Mayan temples spread throughout Belize from the North to the South and we’re in very close proximity to Tikal, just across the Guatemalan border. The Northern and Western parts of Belize are the prime birding and hiking locations.There are over 605 species of birds in Belize that are waiting for you to seek them out. Snorkeling and Diving are available from any island destination such as Caye Caulker or San Pedro. This can also be done at any Coastal destination such as Belize City, Dangriga or Placencia. The Great Blue Hole was named in “Top 20 wonders of the underwater world” and it is truly a spectacular site that is beautiful both under the water by snorkeling and diving, or from the air by plane or helicopter.
