Many awake with a morning pour, but how many know the benefits of coffee for our pores?

While you may commonly associate coffee with waking up in the morning, it is also a fantastic, natural addition to your skincare regimen. Here are a few ways that you can easily incorporate your coffee grounds into your daily beauty routine:

A GLOWING COMPLEXION is yours at last.

Simply mix natural yogurt with a generous spoonful of freshly ground coffee to make a brightening and inexpensive facemask. Apply the mixture to your face for 15 minutes while the coffee works its magic by boosting your facial circulation. Then, rinse off to reveal amazingly bright skin.

SMOOTH SKIN is within reach.

Combine equal parts ground coffee, coconut oil, and sugar, then use as a full body and face scrub to leave your skin feeling soft and supple. Scrub and scour, then shower off the excess. For convenience, make a little extra and store in a glass jar so you can reach for it regularly.

BRIGHT SKIN AND SOOTHED SUNBURNS, only an ice cube away.

Freeze fresh coffee in an ice cube tray for a fantastic 2-in-1 skincare trick. Want to wake up to bright skin? Simply rub the ice cube over your face and under your eyes first thing in the morning. To soothe sunburn and reduce inflammation, wrap a few ice cubes in light gauze and rub gently over any spots that are a little too sun-kissed.

A beauty-savvy tip…

If you’re a regular coffee drinker, you can recycle your coffee grounds after a brew!
