The first course of its kind for Belize, Placencia is now home to Inky’s Mini Golf at Sirenian Bay! This 18-hole, professionally designed mini-golf course is a perfect vacation stop if you’re in Placencia or just nearby.
Mini-Golf Fun in Placencia
Inky’s, rumored to be named after an octopus that escaped from the New Zealand National Aquarium to the Belize Barrier Reef, is the first of its kind in Placencia. As an offshoot of golf, mini-golf is much more casual while being fun for people of all ages and abilities! Essentially, your goal is to hit a ball from a tee-off point into a hole in as few shots as possible. That is. through plenty interesting (and tricky) obstacles to putt through, over, under, and around! Throughout the course, you’ll see Inky the Octopus themed across the area.
Inky’s at Sirenian Bay Resort & Villas
Inky’s Mini Golf is part of an overall development called Sirenian Bay Resort and Villas, located right across the street on Placencia’s beautiful beach. Sirenian Bay features well-appointed and comfortable accommodations as has a combination of luxury villas (each with private pools!) or all-inclusive bungalow units.
At Inky’s, its more than just mini-golf; there’s also a full service restaurant and bar named Inky’s 19th Hole Bar & Grill. Our personal recommendation? You must try the Jalapeño Poppers. Not to mention, the patio at Inky’s 19th Hole also has plenty of TVs, so it’s a great spot to gather and watch your favorite sporting events. Check out the full menu here. You’ll need Game Passes
The entire entertainment area is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Due to COVID-19, its hours have been temporarily reduced to 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM. However if you’d prefer playing at night, don’t worry; the course is well lit and even cooler to play on, well until closing time! You can play mini-golf as an individual, or you can reserve the entire course for your group. Individual players need no reservation! Prices are as follows:
- Individual, Single Game: $15 BZD
- Group (up to 6) Single Game: $50 BZD
- Kids (12 and Under) Single Game: $10BZD
If you’re staying for a while, consider a day, a week or even an annual pass. Trust us – it’s worth it!
