In 2023 and beyond, several new resorts will be opening in Belize. That includes two new luxury and branded properties. In Ambergris Caye, highly acclaimed, Jimmy Buffet-inspired Margaritaville is counting down to opening day. Meanwhile, the brand that continues to redefine luxury, Four Seasons, will soon be inviting guests to stay at their signature private residences and resort on Caye Chapel. Keep reading for a deeper look at these much-anticipated resorts, and why you should be adding them to your itinerary already.
Margaritaville Beach Resort Belize
The first new resort on the schedule for opening is Margaritaville, set to open its doors to guests (and parrotheads) in less than 100 days. The long-awaited opening of the first-ever Margaritaville Beach Villa Resort on Ambergris Caye will take place on March 15, 2023. And, the best part is, they’ve already begun accepting bookings.
This top-of-the-line resort features 55 villas (one-, two-, and three-bedroom units), along with amenities like a pickleball court, a Barkaritaville dog park, and quintessential Margaritaville-style restaurants. Additionally, guests and owners will get to enjoy luxurious relaxation right beside the reef. They will also have the option of unwinding and recharging at the resort’s St. Somewhere Spa.

Alongside those residences is a 104-key hotel with luxurious overwater bungalows. Owners will be able to benefit from a number of amenities. This includes a Nature and Conservation Institute, created in partnership with world-renowned environmentalist Fabien Cousteau.
Other amenities will include a 9-hole reversible golf course and world-class culinary, wellness, and breakthrough entertainment experiences. Accessible exclusively to guests and residents via the resort’s air and water charters, the new Four Seasons resort is set to provide the quintessential private island experience and then some.
