The agreement came into force on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, as reported by Russian news agency TASS. Now, Russian and Belizean citizens that are holders of valid passports can enter, leave, transit, and stay on the territory of the state of the other party without visas for up to 90 days. Counting from the date of first entry, the agreement outlines time periods of 180 days at a time. For stays of more than 90 days, including those wishing to reside, work, or undergo training, will require a visa.
