All in all, Chabil Mar is a full-service resort near the quaint Placencia Village on the 18-mile Placencia Peninsula. On arrival, guests are warmly welcomed with a tropical cocktail (rum optional) and fresh flowers. Twenty-two spacious villas mend comfort and luxury, each equipped with family-friendly amenities: open kitchens, washers/dryers, closet space, and one to two bedrooms.

It is an all-villa resort where every room faces the sea, with categories ranging from 950 square feet to 2000 square feet of air-conditioned living space with a personal veranda. Some villas have lofts and two bathrooms.
Guests can access the village by walking down the beach, by bike or kayak. Or, can even paddle board to the traditional village to enjoy shopping or other local restaurants. Afterwards, cool down in one of the two infinity pools. There is Chef Daniel’s Café Mar, “Restaurant at the Sea”; however, the resort can also arrange a private candlelit dinner either on the pier or the beach.
