Owner and developer Andrew Ashcroft, in partnership with Autograph Collection Hotels, opened the highly anticipated boutique resort Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection on Thursday, May 6, 2021. The resort spans over 20+ acres as the first in San Pedro Town to sit on more than 1,000 feet of beachfront access, hosting 155-unit complexes as the first true four-diamond resort on Ambergris Caye. Additionally, the eco-luxury development is the first-ever Marriott International property in Belize, decreed to the high-quality standards and dynamic marks of the Autograph Collection in order to carry the trademarked brand. Within, the resort offers seven indoor and outdoor restaurants on-site with modern sensibilities infused into each restaurant and bar.
