The Island

This private island resort invites you to imagine the Caribbean before it got crowded. With nearly a mile of private shoreline and only 20 rooms, it is easy to play, explore and relax on this intimate island retreat. Oceanfront cabanas boast private pools overlooking the stunning sea and reef. And there is an abundance of water activities, from snorkeling to paddleboarding. Also onsite is a dive shop, open-air restaurant and bar, spa, wellness center, and a host of other amenities.

Getting there

The private island sits on the edge of the Gladden Spit and Silk Cayes Marine Reserve -18 miles east of Placencia Village. After arriving at the Phillip Goldson International Airport, guests take a 45-minute domestic flight on Maya Island Air down to Placencia. Following this, a resort representative meets and escorts guests to the private boat transfer. The boat ride is approximately one-hour gliding on the clear azure waters and passing postcard-perfect tiny islands.
