New Non-Stop and Daily Flights to Belize Are Making Travel Easier

A slew of new non-stop flights to the Caribbean will soon be making countries like Belize much easier to get to. That includes new winter flights by American Airlines, which just recently announced increased service to a long list of popular travel destinations. Planning to visit Belize from the U.S. this year? Here are some of the airlines that are making travel easier with new and increased flights.

American Airlines to Increase Service to Belize this Winter

Highlight: New daily flights from Charlotte (CLT) to Belize (BZE)

American Airlines currently offers service to Belize out of Miami, Charlotte, and Dallas. And come Winter 2023, the U.S. airline will be increasing its Charlotte (CLT) flights to daily. The increase, set to take effect December 5th, comes as part of AA’s largest-ever winter schedule to the Caribbean and Latin America. According to the airline, Winter 2023 will see more than 2,250 weekly flights to 90 destinations in the region, marking a 10% increase in seat capacity compared to Winter 2022.

Delta Announces New Non-Stop Flights From Atlanta to Belize

Highlight: An increase in flights from Atlanta

Delta Airlines is offering daily international flights to Belize. Starting January 2024, the airline will be offering an extra Saturday flight out of Atlanta, Georgia (ATL). Delta also currently offers seasonal flights to Belize out of Minneapolis. The extra flight from ATL to BZE will run through March 2024. The schedule will be as follows:

Daily Flight:

  • Departs Atlanta (ATL): 10:00 am
  • Arrives Belize City (BZE): 12:16 pm
  • Departs Belize City (BZE):12:34 pm
  • Arrives Atlanta (ATL): 5:36 pm

Extra Saturday Flight (January-March)

  • Departs Atlanta (ATL): 11:05 am
  • Arrives Belize City (BZE): 1:21 pm
  • Departs Belize City (BZE): 1:51 pm
  • Arrives Atlanta (ATL): 6:56 pm

JetBlue Announces New Non-Stop Flights from JFK to BZE

Highlight: First-ever non-stop flight from New York to Belize

Those living on the east coast will finally be able to access Belize with ease this winter thanks to a recent announcement made by JetBlue. Come December 6, 2023, the airline will be starting new non-stop flights to Belize out of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Flights will be available year-round, three times weekly, operating with the following schedule on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday: 

Departs JFK: 8:29 am | Arrives BZE: 12:14 pm Departs BZE: 1:30 pm | Arrives JFK: 7:00 pm (All times are local)

Alaska Airlines to Introduce Daily Non-Stop Flights from LAX

Go from West Coast to the Caribbean coast with ease this November thanks to Alaska Airlines. With a route system that spans more than 120 destinations and five countries, Alaska Airlines has been serving the skies for some 90 years. Starting this November, Alaska Airlines will be introducing a brand new daily schedule for flights to and from Belize:

Departing from Los Angeles (LAX) at 10:45 am and arriving in Belize City (BZE) at 4:28 pm.

Departing from Belize City (BZE) at 10:00 am, arriving in Los Angeles (LAX) at 2:28 pm.

Thanks to this increase in flights (from twice a week to daily), Belize will be even more accessible to those on the West Coast.
