Dive Into the Belize Barrier Reef

The second largest barrier reef in the world is a vibrant marine ecosystem where you can see tropical fish, live coral, seagrass meadows, manatees and sea turtles. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a wonderful place to fish, snorkel or scuba dive.

Visit Birds and Wildlife

Belize has many wild, pristine nature preserves where you can spot wildlife and birds. Visit the world’s first jaguar preserve at Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Visit the wild expanse of the Chiquibil Forest Preserve, a pristine jungle preserve that’s home to ocelots, jaguarundis, mountain tapirs and scarlet macaws.

Explore the ATM Cave

The Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave was sacred to the Maya. The Discovery Channel and National Geographic have called the ATM one of the world’s most fascinating sacred caves. Exploring this cave will test you physically, so it’s best for adventure seekers with some experience.

Belize’s islands are among the most gorgeous in the world. Visit the untouched, secluded St. George’s Caye or Tobacco Caye. Get lively nightlife on Ambergris Caye.
