Start Signing Up Your Boats for Grand Caribe’s Deep Sea Fishing Classic

It’s almost that time of year again: the 7th annual Grand Caribe Deep Sea Classic takes place this summer. That means now is the time to sign up your boats and start booking your trips. After all, you wouldn’t want to miss out on your chance to get in on the action. This year, the tournament will be taking place from June 29th to July 2nd.

For the past six years, Grand Caribe has partnered with the business community of San Pedro to host this 3-day event for international and local fishing enthusiasts. A fun an exciting event for the entire family to enjoy, the first tournament was held in July 2017. This year, the deep sea classic is offering over $100,000 in cash and prizes.

Those prizes include artwork by world renowned marine artist Carey Chen. Chen, who is originally from Jamaica, is known for his mesmerizing portraits of life at sea. Some of his pieces will be awarded, signed and framed, to the top three boats.

The registration fee for the 7th annual Deep Sea Classic is BZ $3,500 (US $1750) which includes a BZ $1500 Entry Fee and a BZ $2000 pot buy in. The fee covers the boat and the captain as well as the anglers.
