Victoria House has announced it will be reopening its resort and spa to international guests this fall, on October 1, 2020. They are now taking reservations and to make sure guests enjoy their vacation safely, they have introduced new safety measures and introduced flexible booking policies.
Along with the exciting announcement of their reopening, Victoria House included all visitors who need to know how the hotel is getting ready to reopen here. With this announcement, we have rounded up all you need to know about this luxury beachside retreat. Read on, and we are sure you’ll make a reservation soon after.
Victoria House is located on the island of Ambergris Caye, making it the perfect base for beach and water-based activities. It sits approximately 2 miles south of San Pedro Town. However, local flights or a ferry can be taken to the island. Once there, rent a golf cart or get a taxi to the property. The property itself is nestled amongst palm trees and sits on the beach. Now, that is pure bliss!
With only forty-two rooms, Victoria House Resort & Spa is a small and exclusive plantation-style resort. Accommodation options include Casitas, Plantation rooms, Suites, and Private Villas. All are located in a lush tropical garden setting with tall swaying palms and sweeping views of the reef and white sand beach. Looking for something spacious for your family or group? Go for a villa. These include your own private pool, two to five bedrooms, and up to 5000 square feet.
Food & Drink
From private candlelit dinners on the pier to a freshly prepared ceviche and a cold beverage at Admiral Nelson’s Bar, dining at Victoria House Resort & Spa can be as casual or luxurious as you like. Besides, the two restaurants both offer seating inside with air-conditioning or on an outside terrace. Dishes are local and use the best seasonal produce. Enjoy lunch or evening drinks poolside at the casual, Belizean style palapa bar, Admiral Nelson’s Bar. And if you’re celebrating a special occasion, ask about the private dining options. Trust us, you must try beachside candle-lit dining at Victoria House once they reopen.
This is an island for adventure and Victoria House makes sure to offer it all. Not to mention, Victoria House has an onsite dive shop to dive or snorkel Belize’s beautiful Barrier reef. Other activities at an additional cost include fishing, wildlife excursions, Mayan ruin excursions, romantic sunset cruises, windsurfing, para-sailing, catamaran sailing, cave tubing, and golf buggy hire. The friendly and professional hotel team is happy to help plan them all.
