Belize has seen a star-studded February these past few weeks, with celebrity sightings including Harry Potter actors Alfred Lewis Enoch (Dean Thomas) and James & Oliver Phelps (The Weasley Twins) on Ambergris Caye. And, this past weekend, Olympic gold medallist Simone Biles celebrated her bachelorette party in the country alongside her besties. Biles gave her fans a quick inside look at the ‘Bach and Boujee’ party via Instagram, where she posted a quick reel featuring her entourage.
“Belize, we’re ready for you,” wrote Biles.
Biles and her friends made a visit to the island of Caye Caulker, complete with a sunset cruise near The Split. The bachelorette party is a joint party with Biles’ friend, lifestyle blogger Kayla Simone.
Biles, who is 25 years old, is engaged to NFL star Jonathan Owens. The couple have been dating since 2020 and announced their engagement in February 2022.
Simone Biles is arguably one of the best olympic gymnasts of her time, having won 32 Olympic and World Championship medals. In addition to her successes in gymnastics, she has also been a vocal advocate for mental health awareness. Biles has often referred to Belize as her “second home”. She holds Belizean citizenship through her mother.
