Come February 23, a delegation from Belize’s Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations will be making a visit to Atlanta, Georgia. The delegation, led by the Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations Hon. Anthony Mahler, will be visiting the Belizean community in the city as well as promoting the country’s tourism product.
The meeting with the Belizean diaspora is set to take place at atThe Whitley hotel in Buckhead on Saturday, February 25th. According to Global Atlanta, the delegation will also be visiting Conyers, where they will be recognized by Rockdale County’s tax commissioner. Plus, they’ll be celebrating two Belizean-owned businesses in the area: Victory Insurance Group, run by Stacy Emeri Watson, and C-Town Bikes and Fitness, run by Al Smith.
A meeting with the mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, is also on the agenda.
