The Summer Issue of Caribbean Culture & Lifestyle: The Belize Edition is out now.

The Summer Issue, which marks the second publication for the magazine, features Mrs. Kim Simplis Barrow. The Special Envoy for Women and Children is depicted in the serene setting of the Macal River, looking off to the river bank as she paddles upstream in one of Chaa Creek’s signature red canoes.

In this issue, we dive deep into Belize’s underwater marine treasures, uncover the underworld of the ancient Maya,exploreBelize’s rich cultureand exotic cuisines and discover what makes Belize the perfect retirement destination.

Sharing themost enjoyable things to do, places to visit, and food to eat, along with a calendar of events,CC+Lcontinues to inspire people to choose Belize astheir vacation, retirement or investment destination.

On May 11, 2018, McNab Publishing Ltd. hosted their first industry mixer of 2018 to unveil the Summer Edition as well as to introduce Caribbean Culture & Lifestyle’s new brand ambassador program.

Members of the business community and other key industry partners gathered at the Best Western – Belize Biltmore Plaza, as representatives from McNab Publishing Ltd., Maya Island Air, and the Belize Tourism Board unveiled the cover of the latest magazine and shared the publication’s digital networking strategy.

The Public Relations and Marketing Manager of the Belize Tourism Board, Mrs. Jocelle Stephens, opened the event by welcoming all in attendance and shedding light on the growth within the tourism industry. The Creative Director of McNab Publishing, Mrs. Tanya McNab, shared insight on the innovative approach and importance of the publication for the tourism industry in Belize and beyond.

The Director of Marketing and Sales for McNab Publishing Ltd., and lead Brand Manager for Caribbean Culture & Lifestyle, Louise Roe, introduced the new Brand Ambassador program that involves the collaboration with ten Belizean social media creatives from around the country. These influencers, called “CC+L Travelers” have agreed to join the Caribbean Culture and Lifestyle team on their mission to share Belize with the world through creative and inspiring digital content.

To conclude the event, closing remarks were by Revenue Manager, Ms. Marcella Williams of Maya Island Air who expressed the company’s excitement about the new magazine and the anticipation of those to come.

As the official in-flight magazine for Maya Island Air, CC+L can be found on all Maya flights, in airport terminals and affiliated hotel rooms countrywide.
