Thinking about planning your next vacation, but just want to see a bit more before booking your hotel? Undoubtedly, the demand for ‘try before you buy’ is becoming increasingly more popular from modern day travelers. And as travelers have become more conscious due to the pandemic, a brochure and a few photos simply just won’t do. Travelers want to get a real feel for the place before booking.

“Times have changed…Guests want to see and know more about a property or destination before they book a vacation. Virtual tours allow us to share a glimpse of what their holiday could look like from the comfort of their own home and gives them the confidence to book.”

Here, these three Belize beach resorts show us around virtually. Scroll down to take a peak…

Coral Caye

Like a scene out of castaway, Coral Caye is a two acre private island sheltered by the Belize Barrier Reef. Part of the Coppola Hideaways, this old commercial fishing camp, has been transformed into a luxe private paradise. Here, a caretaker is on call to provide all your meals and help see guests off on the day’s excursions. The island’s two cottages can sleep up to 12, and the central Great House features indoor/outdoor living spaces.

Ray Caye

Ray Caye Island Resort, is another private island located 18 miles east of Placencia. With only 20 rooms on the island, the resort is a secluded paradise. Guest can choose from either of its 4 room categories. These range from 1 – 3 bedroom options. Whilst all rooms can be viewed virtually, the Oceanfront Honeymoon Suites deserve special recognition. Designed with romance in mind, the rooms offer ultimate privacy. Even better it offers undisturbed breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Couples can lounge by their private plunge pool or stargaze from their terrace. Inside too are all the modern comforts. These include a jacuzzi, double sinks and large rainfall shower-heads.

Victoria House

This hotel is for those who crave the buzz of a busy island, yet seek a private and intimate resort to retreat too. Whilst, located on Ambergris Caye, the biggest island in the country, the hotel itself is nestled amongst palm trees and sits on the beach. In addition, the award-winning property houses only 42 rooms. Guests can choose between a spacious pool villaluxurious suite, well-appointed Stateroom, or a romantic tropical Casita. Each are beautifully appointed with views of the sandy beach. All have virtual tours available for guests to view. Our favorite though, are the Casitas. Take a tour and see why!
