Garifuna Culture Immersion and Beach Day
The Garifuna are one of the oldest cultures in Belize and Hopkins village is testimony to this magnificent and rich culture today. On this adventure, you’ll meet Uwanie Martinez, a local Garifuna woman and her family. Here, you’ll experience this unique culture first-hand, learning about the language, food, music spiritual beliefs and religious beliefs. However, the best bit is the drum lesson with one of Belize’s best drummer.
