Belize Tourism Board’s signature National Tourism Awards event is back in 2022! With the rise of Belize as a top travel destination, the success of our tourism growth is equal to the quality of services provided on a daily basis. As the governing body of the tourism industry, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) is set to recognize the excellence of its tourism partners through 10 categories in October 2022. Held since 2002, the National Tourism Awards is an annual recognition event for exceptional places, products, services, and yes — people! After not being able to celebrate in the last two years because of the COVID pandemic, it’s time to recognize and award the hard work, dedication, and major positive investments in tourism. The call for nominations is open until July 12 for the following 10 categories, which include a few new ones.
