If you listen close enough, you can hear Leos announcing to the world that it is, in fact, their season. As we near the end of summer, Leos want to make sure it goes out with a bang. These impassioned Zodiac signs, given to those born between August 22 and July 22, are considered the life of the party. With this in mind, we have rounded up the best vacation spots in Belize that can keep up with a Leo, the fire sign full of action and adventure.

Leos and the Isla Bonita are a match made in heaven. There’s a reason San Pedro Town is known as the party island, and they do not disappoint on the nightlife front. About 1.5 hours away via water taxi from Belize City, San Pedro is the only town on Ambergris Caye, but that doesn’t stop it from offering the absolute most when it comes to a vacation. Being the premier destination for Spring Break trips should be a hint to what this island has in store.
What to do: Bar hop across town, making friends with locals and like-minded travelers.

Placencia

Another beach destination, Placencia calls to Leos with their tantalizing food and its affinity for adventure. While the peninsula itself may be laid-back and relaxed, Placencia serves as a hub for adventure. If there’s one thing Leos take pride in is their thirst for thrill-seeking experiences.

What to do: Snorkel off the coast of Placencia with Splash IDC Center at one of the many offshore islands, or rent a jet ski and ride into the Caribbean sunset.
Where to stay: The Ellysian marries decadence with convenience by being directly in front of the beach with easy access to the center of town.
San Ignacio

Should you have forgotten, a Leo will remind you that it’s their world and we’re just living in it. A fact that may be bellowed from the top of their lungs as they hurtle through the rainforest canopy on a zipline. San Ignacio is known as the adventure capital, so it’s natural a Leo will flock to this region like a moth to a flame. With caves, Maya ruins and nearby jungles, this town in the Cayo District will not disappoint.
