You will be in awe of the cathedral-like caverns and intricate subterranean structures that nature has formed over centuries of erosion and accretion.

Belize has an estimated 300 caves, many of which still house a treasure trove of ancient Maya offerings. The most popular destination for cave tubing is the Caves Branch Outpost, located within the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve, near the village of Frank’s Eddy. You can take a walking food tour such as the one led by Taste Belize around Placencia Village and sample food such as tamales, garnaches, seaweed shakes, Black Dinna, and Belizean Bittas.
