As the rainy days recede, Belize welcomes travelers to experience the wonders of its dry season. Lasting from late November to early May, this season marks a respite from the rain. It also coincides with the peak of tourism, making it the perfect time to explore all that Belize has to offer! That includes plenty of seasonal activities that both locals and visitors enjoy. From the windswept days of March to the sunny months of April and May, the dry season promises an array of adventures for every kind of traveler.

During the dry season, Belize experiences clear skies and abundant sunshine, creating the perfect conditions for outdoor activities. This means you’ll have picture-perfect beach days at places like Ambergris Caye, Placencia, Hopkins, and Caye Caulker.  This weather is also optimal for hiking through lush rainforests and exploring ancient Maya sites. You can traverse through the Chiquibul Forest Reserve and discover the city of Caracol. Or, simply lounge by a pool or the seaside and enjoy the warm weather. Just make sure to pack your sunscreen.
