Belize Wins TripSavvy Editors’ Choice Award for Tourism Industry Leader!

Introducing new criteria, winners are businesses like large companies and hometown heroes; those doing the most good for customers and communities during the global pandemic, while fighting for equity and equality. Nonetheless, over 50 editors and writers across the globe combed through a year’s worth of ratings, reviews, and data; judging post-pandemic, this year’s winners reflect those that overwhelmingly met the challenges of COVID-19. After all, these meaningful, result-driven solutions—including Belize’s robust ‘Gold Standard’ Travel Protocols—put the country on the map as an industry leader.

Overall, 70 honorees were divided into four categories: Industry Leaders, Innovators, Community Leaders, and Quick Responders.
