Cuban Medical Professionals assist Belize and Jamaica with Covid-19

COVID-19 will not spare any country on earth.  Medical professionals are in short supply and the number of cases are quickly rising. Cuba is quickly proving to be one of the unique countries for which the pandemic presents an opportunity for their health care professionals as they respond to the SOS for doctors to help in the battle against the severe coronavirus epidemic.

Cuban doctors were among the international first responders in Wuhan to tend to the sick and assist Chinese authorities. Since then, Cuban doctors have been providing assistance to countries all over world including Spain and Italy and is now assisting its Caribbean Neighbors.

On March 21st, 2020 – Jamaica welcomed 140 Cuban medical professionals on the island, to help the country fight COVID-19.
