The Caribbean nation is 1 of only 15 countries in the world listed on a Level 2 travel advisory – exercise increased caution due to COVID-19 and crime from the US State Department. Following the COVID-19 pandemic condition in the Belize island, the United States’ Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has also issued a level 2 travel health notice.
As such, MSN Lifestyle listed Belize as 1 of 11 safest destinations to travel this summer.
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to provide proof of their negative COVID-19 PCR test. But those travelers that have not been vaccinated need to present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result which is to be taken within 96 hours of travel or a negative antigen test result presented within 48 hours of trip to the island.

In addition, international tourists must book at a Gold Standard hotel and present confirmation at immigration.

Belize Removes Its Health App as Entry Requirement
