Being one of the easiest countries to get to from the U.S. (thanks to a slew of direct flights), Belize is a choice vacation destination for many. Still, flight prices can vary, and can even sometimes cost a pretty penny. Recently, though, flight prices have seen a significant drop, currently averaging around $604 round-trip, according to Kayak.
Taking Advantage of the Shoulder Season
Also appealing to those looking to stretch their dollars, summer in Belize falls within its low tourist season. Usually during this period, resorts and tour operators offer reduced rates, making travel to Belize much more budget-friendly. For combined savings and amazing experiences, aim to travel in the shoulder season (May – July and August – September). The crowds will be fewer, the weather nicer, and the summer savings a whole lot sweeter.
