This month, travelers can vote for the country as 2024’s “Most Desirable Country” in the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards. A UK-based independent travel magazine, Wanderlust is the oldest travel magazine still in circulation in Europe. Each year, the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards celebrates the best in travel, including desirable destinations, tour operators, and travel brands.

Last year, the 22nd annual Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards took place at the British Museum in London. There, hundreds of industry experts and travel fanatics gathered to celebrate the best of the best in the industry. While Croatia was awarded Most Desirable Country in Europe, Australia took the title of Most Desirable Country in the World.

Other prominent awards categories included Most Desirable City, Most Desirable Region, and Most Desirable Island (awarded to Cuba). This year, readers can also input their votes for their favorite nature destinations, adventure destinations, and sustainable destinations.
