Starting December 19, Minnesotans and other Mid-Western travelers can enjoy non-stop seasonal Saturday service to Belize this month with Sun Country! Operating roundtrip flights once weekly on Saturdays between Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) and Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport in Belize City (BZE), Sun Country’s seasonal service is slated to be offered from December 2020 to April 2021. Minneapolis/St. Paul joins an ever-expanding list of air carriers returning nonstop flight service to Belize. In the wake of COVID-19, the list for December 2020 into January 2021 includes Miami, Dallas, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, Newark, Houston (HOU) and Minneapolis.

At flight launch in December 2018, the partnership with Sun Country Airlines was the first-ever seasonal nonstop service from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Belize. At the time, the seasonal route marked the 10th U.S. city to offer nonstop service to Belize. MSP has initiated several safety measures, including a requirement that passengers wear face masks inside the airport. Tickets are now on sale at suncountry.com.
