The Belize Tourism Board is making an effort to “give something back” to the world of travel this year via its newly launched travel agent rewards program. Through the program, travel agents will be able to earn points for any booking with a minimum of one overnight stay in Belize on the itinerary.
How the BTB’s Travel Agent Program Works
The “Unbelizeable Rewards” Program is open to all travel agents worldwide. To sign up, all they have to do is enroll online.
Through the rewards platform, travel agents can report bookings where Belize is on the itinerary. According to the BTB, those bookings can be made directly with Belizean suppliers, or via any tour operator or third party. In exchange for those Belize bookings, travel agents get reward points. In fact, every confirmed room night booked in Belize earns them 100 points.

Speaking on the launch of the program, Belize’s Director of Tourism, Evan Tillett said “We hugely appreciate our travel advisor community. They’re some of our greatest allies.”
Tillet also added that he hopes the program will help build trade relationships and show the board’s appreciation for agent partners.
