4 Travellers Recipes to Try At Home

1. Cocolime Mojito

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. Ruta Maya Cocolime Rum
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 6-8 mint leaves
  • Soda water
Directions
  1. In a highball glass, muddle the mint leaves gently.
  2. Add RM Cocolime Rum and fresh lime juice to the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice and mix well.
  4. Top up with soda water and stir gently to combine. Garnish with mint spring, lime wedge, and dry coconut.

2. Ouro Ginger Beer

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 oz. Ruta Maya Rum Ouro
  • ginger beer
  • lime wedge
Directions
  1. Pour Ruta Maya Rum Ouro into a highball glass.
  2. Squeeze the juice of a lime wedge into the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with ice.
  4. Top up with ginger beer.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge.

3. Classic Travellers Martini

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. Travellers Baron Gin
  • ice
  • 1 oz. dry vermouth
  • green olive or lemon twist for garnishing

Directions
  1. Chill your martini glass in the freezer.
  2. In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker, combine the gin and vermouth.
  3. Add cubed ice and stir well, about 30 seconds*, until the Martini is chilled.
  4. Then, strain into the martini glass.
  5. Garnish with an olive or lemon twist and serve.

*If you like your martini shaken, then shake for about 10 seconds.

4. Espresso martini

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 oz. Ruta Maya Coffee Rum
  • 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau liqueur
  • 1 shot freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
  • cocoa bitters
  • pinch of sea salt
Directions
  1. Pour all the ingredients into a shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Hard-shake for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour and strain into a Martini glass.
  5. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
