With safety at the forefront of Belize’s reopening strategy, all accommodations in Belize’s Tourism Safe Corridor have: 1) successfully been recognized with Gold Standard Certification and 2) been approved to reopen for international guests during Phase 3. Belize’s Gold Standard Program is an extensive 9-point system which elevates the cleaning and workplace policies of hotels. As of September 24, visitors are able to choose from 85 properties approved for Belize’s Reopening in Phase 3.
