After 192 days of border closure, leisure travel to Belize will resume on October 1, 2020 with its airport reopening. Travelers arriving on or after Oct. 1 are required to test negative for Covid, whether within the 72 hours of travel or on arrival at the airport. Arrivals who produce a positive test result will be subject to a 14-day quarantine, or until they test negative. Additionally, travelers must must also download and complete online forms in the Belize Health App within 72 hours of travel. At Belize’s October 1 reopening, entry requirements for various classifications of traveler carry slight variations.
The Belize Health App forms DOES NOT need to be completed more than 72 hours in advance. If you do so any earlier, the unique code will expire and you will need to start the process over.
