COPA Airlines Adds Second Flight Frequency to Belize

by Carolee Chanona

With 2021’s winding road steered towards travel recovery, that included more frequent flights, with the return and launch of new airlines arriving in Belize with inaugural service. One vital bridge to the region and Europe? COPA Airlines’ return in June 2021, signaling a sense of normalcy to both regional and international travel. With its main hub in Panama City (PTY) at the Tocumen International Airport, Copa Airlines offers the most convenient connection to Belize from Latin and Central America, the Caribbean, Canada, and Europe—without transiting through the United States of America. Now, COPA Airlines increases flights to Belize with twice-weekly service on Tuesdays and Saturdays as of January 1, 2022. Flight time from Belize City (BZE) to Panama City (PTY) is 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Flight Schedule (PTY-BZE)

Arrives: Belize City (BZE) at 1:08 pm
Departs: Belize City (BZE) at 2:19 pm
